It is impossible to go out in this city, particularly at night without noticing the very large population of prostitutes. In Pattaya there are an abundance of bar-girls and “freelancers” along Beach Road or any other place where tourists are likely to find them- more than willing to go back to your hotel room for a relative pittance compared to Western prices. Indeed this is one of the major attractions for a large portion of visitors to Pattaya.
However the problem is that some hotels, especially those that are targeting families, will charge a joiner fee if you bring a visitor back to your room. This can be as much as 1500 baht.
Pattaya Joiner Friendly Hotels
Below is a list of hotels that at the time of writing did not charge a fee for unregistered, short time guests and are deemed “guest friendly hotels“. There are plenty of girl friendly hotels near Walking Street, hotels along Beach Road as well as hotels in North Pattaya, Central Pattaya and South Pattaya and Jomtien.
Most hotels have a limit of 2 people per room. So if you are going to bring girls (or ladyboys) back to your room, it is best to make a reservation for one person. If you try to be crafty and book for 2, you might run into problems because the hotel might consider your unregistered guest a third person.
Ladyboy friendly Hotels in Pattaya
Generally if a hotel is bar-girl friendly, it is also ladyboy friendly. When confirming with each hotel in the list, we specifically ask about ladyboys as well. Sometimes ladyboys are not mentioned in the reply. If the joiner policy does not mention “Ladyboys Welcome”, it does not mean that they are not allowed, it just means that the hotel did not specifically address that question. If a hotel ever says ladyboys are not allowed, it will be mentioned in the policy, but we have yet to see a hotel say they are not welcome.
All hotels on this list are vetted and confirmed joiner friendly as at the date mentioned. However hotels can change their policies at anytime. When we get a report of a hotel on this list charging for short time or overnight guests will will mark it with this mark- and list it on the changes page. Beautiful and quiet resort away from the hustle and bustle. Located on Dongtan Beach, Rabbit Resort is 20 minutes away from Walking street by taxi (THB300) or Songtaew (THB20). Not only is Rabbit Resort girl friendly, it is pet friendly! (Though there is a charge for pets).

Avalon Beach Resort
This hotel/resort is located on Jomtien Beach and has very spacious rooms and a huge pool. The rooms are classic Thai style with tile floors and Lanna wooden furnishings with balconies overlooking the pool. Known for its laid back atmosphere, friendly staff and buffet breakfast.

Pattaya Garden Resort
Pretty old property, but it has bungalows as well as regular hotel rooms, which offers a bit more privacy if you are concerned about the walk of shame. Pretty low-end and a well-worn, but cheap and serves its purpose. Located on Pattaya-Na Kluea Road just past Dolphin Circle. A bit far from Walking Street but easily accessable the constantly running Songtaews.

Another property in the joiner friendly LK chain of hotels. Very conveniently located in the middle of Pattaya, 20 yards from amazing bar scene and 2 blocks back from the beach. Rooms are quiet and clean and have good sized balconies. Larger rooms with kitchentte are available. The LK Metropole has free wifi, a gym and a pool.

Sabai Inn
Cheap hotel with basic but large and clean rooms. Classic old-style hotel with an enormous lobby and very comfortable rooms. Smoking is allowed only in the designated smoking areas provided by inn. No pool on site but guests can use 2 pools across the street at affiliated hotel. Close to the beach and in a quiet area despite being close to nightlife area.

Nice sized rooms that are clean and spacious. Gym and good size swimming pool with swim up bar. 2 blocks back from the beach and short walk to Terminal 21. Very central for nightlife activities. The property is not new but has been updated and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Sunbeam is a good choice for girl friendly hotel and great price.

Naris Art Hotel
Simple clean rooms. The hotel is older, but clean and well maintained. Small swimming pool. What this hotel lacks in pizazz it makes up for with the fact they allow 2 girls into your room without asking for a joiner fee! Located halfway between Pattaya and Jomtien, it is a little far from Walking Street and other nightlife areas.

August Suites offers larger rooms than most and a very convenient location, though still quiet in the room. Nice big pool (But will be closed for renovations during July 2023). Spacious and functional gym. Short walk to the beach. Nicer than you would expect from a 3 and half star property.

Areca Lodge
Areca Lodge is located very close to the nightlife of Soi Metro with its open air beer bars and nightclubs, but also one kilometer from Walking Street. The rooms are a good size and quite comfortable. Two large pools and an excellent workout room. The breakfast is also well recommended.

Formerly The pattaya Centre Hotel, the property has had a refresh and rebrand to Hermann Hotel Pattaya. Situated on Pattaya Beach Road, the location is fantastic with the beach on one side and the attractions of central pattaya on the other. There is a rooftop pool with marvelous views of the ocean.

Dynasty Inn
The rooms and decor of this hotel are quite dated but the rooms are clean and you might even say the hotel has a certain charatcter to it. Location in central Pattaya is very convenient and only a short walk to the beach. If a good pool is important for you, the two bath sized “pools” on the tiny roof are almost certainly not what you are looking for.

The Green View 
This is probably the most centrally located hotel for Walking Street, located in Soi 15 off Walking Street right in the thick of things. As such it isn’t very quiet but people who stay here are probably not looking for a good night’s sleep anyway. During the pandemic the refurbished the rooms and they are simple, modern and clean.

Diamond City Place
Basic three star hotel with simple and clean rooms. Well located, well managed, quiet, the rooms are spacious and nicely furnished. There is a smallish pool and free wifi. The location is very convenient with lots of shops and supermarkets nearby, and it is on the Baht Bus route. Diamond City Place is about a ten minute walk to the beach.

Situated right on the beach on Beach Road, the location of Eastiny Inn is fantastic! The rooms are basic and the rates are cheap. The central location near nightlife means that it is not a quiet area. This hotel has a pool. Not much else to say- basic accomodation for a cheap price. Don’t expect any extras.

Convenient location on sSoi 8 near many nightlife options. The rooms are simple, clean spacious and comfortable, but may be a little noisy due to the location. Choice of three different pools. Get too hot on the rooftop pool? then head down to the pool on the first floor. 3 minute walk to the beach.

The Classroom
The Classroom is the ultimate Pattaya Joiner Friendly Hotel that was designed specifically for bringing bar girls and freelancers back to your room. It is an adults only hotel so no awkward moments with families giving you the side eye. There is even access to your room via a side elevator that is unlocked with your room key so that you can skip bringing your guest through the lobby if you want. There is a sportsbar on the property as well. The rooms are very basic with just a bed and no amenities, but you won’t find a more girl friendly hotel in Pattaya.

For the price, this is one of, if not the best value joiner free hotels in Pattaya. The rooms are a good size and furnished with modern furnishings. The location is not so close to the beach but it is close to many of the attractions in central Pattaya such as Terminal 21. The hotel features a nice big pool and a good gym.
